Building my own laptop

Is there a site that I can order parts cheap and put them together myself?

llbbl is on a distinguished road
Your crazy. If you build it yourself than it is going to be the size of a house and way as much. Better to buy one that is already put together. It doesn't have to be new.

Ioman will become famous soon enough
When Dang and I were at Comdex there was a computer company selling upgradeable laptops. But now that I think about it, I cannot remember if they were actual laptops or Desknotes....a desknote is like a laptop but does not use a mobile CPU and doesn't have a battery.

If you go to Fry's electronics you will see that they sell HDD's for laptops....so at least that aspect is upgradeable. I think you can also upgrade the memory and CPU on a lot of laptops as well leaveing the nonupgradeable parts like video card, ethernet, audio and the other integrated components.
