and here you thought i forgot about you guys!
i am back! for he las 2 months i have been in the process of moving and i just started school...i was thinking of upgrading m hardrive...is there really and difference in quality b\t internal and external hd's?

There are differences, but you are comparing apples and oranges.
Internal drives have a Stable place to be located, no harsh conditions and dont bounce around much. External drives need should have cooling, a good SHOCK aborbstion, Power supplys, and alot of extra stuff, just to be Portable. In both cases there are good and BAD.
