Hi all,

I wish to purchase a HDD mp3 (20GB) player. However i am unsure which players offer the best sound quality as this is the most important feature im looking for in an MP3 player.

I have performed research and is seems that both the irriver h120 and creative zen touch output good quality sound.

Could anybody please help recommend a HDD Mp3 player which emphasis on sound quality rather than other features.

Thankyou

I guess the iRiver H300 have the best sound quaility. I just confirm that the Asian & Europe edition can play video.

Depends on what you mean by sound quality. To most it seems to be monster bass (and in that respect the iRivers are great). To me it means detail, the articulation of the notes, frequency extension and instrument separation as well as a clean tone, which is why I dumped the iRivers.
A happy medium seems to be the Sony NW-HD1. It's got a noticeably weightier sound than many players, yet it doesn't seem to lag behind in the technical capabilities either. The only problem is that it's not an MP3 player.

Um? iRiver has great sound, it has a cool equaliser, great settings for bass and treble controls and makes good use of the digital 3D SRS WOW sound.

This alone tells me that you don't understand sound quality.
