Hello this is my first thread on this site,
I've got an X-Box and i am just wondering what game you would reccomend.
I've got Driver 3, Rayman 3, Grabbed by the ghoolies, Conflict: Desert storm 2, Fifa football 2004, Goldeneye: Rouge Agent
I am from the UK so if you haven't heard of any of the games that is why.

Get Halo and Halo 2 for sure!
What type of games do you like most? The games you listed are pretty diverse.

i like any platform :thumb
KoTOR2 is pretty ass. I was playing it saturday morning for a few hours and it reminded me of the quake2 engine. The gameplay was alright, but i'm not a starwars fanboy.

Oh man, as much as I love Halo 2 and would reccomend it, I can't believe NO ONE has mentioned Ninja Gaiden!
In all seriousness, this game rocks your socks.
At first you might think it's just button mashing...but after playing it you will learn the different button combos to perform certain moves.
I still haven't beaten it yet....but its well worth the time and effort.
Go get it ;)
i love rallisport challenge 2.
I would recomend Armies of Exigo. It's the best, hardest and most fun rts i played in a long time.

Would i get these games in the UK?
just to verify the games i am looking for are for the X-BOX
you should be able to. if you love racing or rally check out richard burns rally. it's the most realistic physics engine out there for cars. gt comes close, but doesn't model every part of the car like rbr does.

You can always order them online from a US company and pay for the shipping :P

Cool, would it play on my X-Box or is it like DVD's? (UK:-region 2 etc...)
from previous experience, (with ps, dreamcast and even n64) there was region encoding on games, and you needed a mod chip to bypass it. Not sure if that's true for xbox though.
the msdashboard would probably be region locked. i can play pal rips on my ntsc xbox without issue.

Order a US encoded Xbox while your at it :)
yeah, my box is running an xecuter2b with a 200gb diamondmax10 drive on an 80pin cable (cable makes a nice difference) with unleashx/xbmc as my dashboards. got about 10gb of roms/emulators on it :)

sweet!
We need an Xbox modding section on the forums :)
no kidding. i came across the ifilm/itunes/etc scripts for xbmc finally. they're pretty cool. the email script is limited, but it has alot of promise. just needs a delete feature really. rules / folders would be sick.
