What is the name of the MP3 player you are reviewing right now at home? I heard it uses 3" mini CDs?
Can you post a link and a pic?
It's called the WalkieMusic MP3 Delux.
Go to here (http://www.met.com.tw/eng/product/product.htm) then select it in the drop down.

Some cool specs:
- Plays Audio or MP3 data cds
- reads CD-R, CD-RW, CD-DA, CD-ROM
- supports folders (apparently..haven't tried this yet)
- capacity: 185/200 MB
- shock resistance: CD-DA 120sec, MP3 480sec
- Has an EQ w/ presets (can't define your own)
- Supports ID3 Tags
- 15 hours of playback time
- comes w/ rechargeable batteries, and the player recharges them when plugged into the wall
- and a bunch of other cool stuff.
I'll post a review soon.
I do wish it came in different colors.

So Dang, What is the price of a spindle of say 25 mini 3" cd's? I know that Memorex makes some.
I kind of think this MP3 player is pretty cheesey looking if you ask me.

Yeah, we don't need more companies designing tech gadgets with the hello kitty color scheme.
They are actually pretty cheap.
You can get a 10pack w/ jewel case for $4 on pricewatch (185mb).
you can get a spindle of 50 200mb for between $19 and $24.
25 pack is about $10-12
I'm sure you can find cheaper prices, I just checked pricewatch quickly and then compusa.
Yes, the color is not that great, but so far its a very cool mp3 player. Spending a few bucks on media compared to compact flash is great by itself.

True; the size of flash media is great, but you can't argue with the cost of 3" CDs.

Nope. 200MB of space for around 50 cents a disk. Thats a deal.
You dont have to worry about losing one or having it get messed up.
Plus, burning one is pretty quick
