Hey all
I'm looking for a new laptop (prefer a larger screen than netbook size), and the choice stands between an MSI X600 with the SU3500 intel processor, or a Dell Studio 15 with a T4300 intel processor. The two both have 4 gigs of ram, a 15,6" screen and the same harddisk space. The Asus UL30A and UX50V are also possibilities, yes somehow they cost the same where I live The UL30A has a 13.3" display and the SU7300 processor, and the UX50V has a 15,6" display and the SU3500 processor. They both have 4 gigs of ram and a 500 gb hdd. I've read that the UL30A is quite impressive.MSI X600: http://eu.msi.com/index.php?func=pro...#8719;_no=1855 Dell Studio 15: http://www.dell.com/us/en/home/noteb...cs=19&ref=lthp Asus UL30A: http://www.asus.dk/product.aspx?P_ID=8CwAK6XZ0pekc7aI Asus UX50V: http://www.asus.dk/product.aspx?P_ID=CT2eXjXd9FYeDzPE The laptop's main purpose will be school related stuff like handling word documents and such. I found the X600 nice because it's so light and thin, (same with the Asus ones), therefore it would be easy to carry to school, whereas the Studio 15 has some more musclepower, but I'm not sure I'll need it for the school stuff. The keyboard has to be quite good, and I prefer the screen not to suck totally ![]() Which one would you advise- considering it's mainly for taking notes and working with word? I'm planning on installing windows 7 on the one I choose to get. Thanks in advance Rakke |
