remote relay equipment
I'm in the process of setting up a home theater and am planning on locating my A/V receiver in a closet. I will need to setup a remote relay device in the room that will be hard-wired back to the receiver (Pioneer vsx-d912k). This will allow me to send signals to the closet receiver. Does anyone have recommendations for the relay device as far as manufacturers/models?

Well I found a product that will meet my needs. The completely wireless Powermid IR Extender for $40 provides two IR/RF transmiter/receivers that allow me to send remote commands to my closet A/V receiver from another room. Pretty cool stuff, I'll report back on how it performs.

there prices went up, about 30%... I TOLD them to stop it. Looks like they didnt. Lost alot of sales, I would believe.

Maybe that 1 or 2 products, but x-10 makes wireless relays for lighting and alarms, and Wireless/wired cams.
I don t see any of those there.
