It looks really smooth I imagine that it would be quite small, a similar size to the iPod shuffle and other pen drive players. I'd never buy it though because I need a minimum of at least 20GB :/

It's very small, You can compare it with a small coca-cola bottle(0.5liter)

Firmware changes

Is there anyway to change the firmware for this MP3? I would like it to open to a specific folder and only that folder. If not is there an MP3 someone would recommed that I can do this on?

Thanks
Robert

Yes. I'm curious if it's possible to customize the firmware so I can make some security changes. Or if it's even possible on this unit?

dont think so philips does provide it...

Hi,

Ok . I think U r looking for some options like the player can be accessed by you.. some kind of password or anything which gives access to U only and no one else can use it...

Unfortunately , i do not think such kind of security is embedded in philips player.. Even I have not seen ny other device providing such facility.. Probably , such kind of facilities can be provided with the players which are having key pad.. (( Do not recall any such cusomized mp3 players...))...

hope so this anwer ur doubt...

Bye

Anup
