Please can you help with my philips jukebox HDD6320/05

Hey there,

My lovely Dad bought me a Philips Jukebox HDD6320/05 as my xmas pressy, but gave it to me early because I need an external hard drive....

The problem being it doesn't accept word document, saying it doesn't support that file type. I am maybe being stupid - I am not very good with this stuff, is there anything I can do???

I have trolled through the website and internet and I really can't figure out what to do. If it doesn't support word is there anything I can do - I know you can get ipods to accept it. I really need to fix it so when i go home and he makes me demonstrate it I can prove he hasn't wasted his money!!!
