How far do you want to take this. As there are magneto optical disks you would not believe.
As well as the OLD laser disks format which is GREAT for storage, Write once, read many formats.

GET anti virus, spybot, spy blaster, Adaware...RUN THEM, UPDATE THEM, RUN EVERY WEEK.

Personally, I miss the Imation Super Disk format. 120 Megs per disc, bootable and the drive can also read and write standard 1.4M floppies. It was great for taking a lot of files between work and home. They used to come standard on certain Compaq models.

I miss this format as well. It really seemed hit and miss with motherboard and vendor support though. It almost seemed like motherboard manufacturers supported this format MORE after it went away.

Kind of goofy really.
